Higher & Juicier

"Higher & Juicier" is a unique platformer that flips the genre's usual goal on its head. Instead of simply aiming to jump higher and further, the final objective is to fall — but not before preparing yourself!

The game centers around a steak that just can't handle being badly cooked. Desperate to escape, the steak leaps through the kitchen, collecting ingredients and turning on the stove, all in a race to jump into a hot pan at just the right time.

Main Mechanics The core gameplay revolves around two jump types: the normal jump and the water jump. The water jump consumes the steak's water index (health) but allows for higher jumps, adding strategic depth. Each jump depletes water, meaning players need to manage the water index carefully.

Spices (ingredients) come into play by locking in the water and enabling a secondary jump. This secondary jump isn’t as high as the water jump, so players must decide when to use their water wisely. The height, water level, and number of collected ingredients affect the final score.

Final Challenge There’s a time pressure too. If the steak takes too long to jump into the pan, the stove becomes too hot and the game ends. The challenge is in balancing water, ingredients, and time for the best results.
